Start with a free site measure
Every fitting starts with a measure, and we offer it free locally in Hyderabad. Measuring a room properly is more than length times breadth — it accounts for doorways, bay windows, alcoves, fireplaces, the direction of the pile, and where any seams will fall so they land away from the light and the main walkways. We will talk through carpet weight and fibre for the room's use, recommend a suitable underlay, and give you an honest, itemised quote before anything is ordered or cut.
How we fit a carpet
A wall-to-wall installation done properly follows a sequence, and getting each step right is what makes a carpet last:
- Subfloor prep — we check the floor is clean, dry and level, and lift or trim old flooring where needed.
- Gripper rods — fixed around the perimeter a short distance from the skirting, pins angled to the wall, ready to hold the carpet under tension.
- Underlay — laid and joined neatly up to the grippers (never over them). A good underlay adds comfort, insulation and quiet, and helps protect the carpet above it.
- Laying and stretching — the carpet is positioned, then tensioned across the room with a knee-kicker or power stretcher so it lies flat and stays flat, without ripples or rucks appearing later.
- Trimming and tucking — excess is trimmed and tucked cleanly into the gap between gripper and skirting for a tidy edge.
- Seams and thresholds — seams are joined with heat-bond tape so they sit flat and discreet; at doorways we finish with a threshold bar or cover strip where carpet meets tile, marble, vinyl or wood.
Fitting around skirting, thresholds and the awkward bits
The quality of a fit lives in the details most people never notice: a clean tuck along every skirting, neat cuts around door architraves, columns and radiators, and a flat, well-chosen transition at each threshold. Hyderabad homes often pair carpet with marble, granite or vitrified tile, so the meeting point matters — we fit the right profile so there is no trip, no fraying and no gap.
Stairs and runners
Stairs are among the most demanding carpet jobs, and they reward an experienced fitter. We fit full stair carpet and bespoke stair runners — waterfall or cap-and-band, with or without rods — measured tread by tread so the pattern runs true and every nosing is wrapped tight. Done well, a staircase is both safer underfoot and one of the quietest parts of the house.
Homes, offices and contract work

After fitting, simple care keeps a wall-to-wall carpet looking its best: vacuum regularly, deal with spills promptly by blotting rather than rubbing, and arrange professional cleaning periodically.
