Most of our walk-in customers buy one rug for one room. A wholesale or project buyer is solving a different problem: matched material across many rooms, a delivery date that holds, and pricing that works inside a fixed budget or BOQ. Ellora Carpets has supplied carpets and rugs from our Masab Tank showroom since 1965, and we run project orders differently from a single retail sale — with a named point of contact, written quotations, and clear lead times before anything is committed.

The range we supply at volume
Two broad categories cover most projects:
Wall-to-wall (broadloom) carpet
Fitted carpet supplied by the roll for corridors, rooms and large floor areas. It is a standard choice for hospitality and office work because it gives seam control, pattern continuity and a continuous finish across a whole floor. We can supply material only, or supply with measure and fitting where the site is local to Hyderabad.
Wool and silk rugs
Loose and area rugs for lobbies, suites, reception and feature spaces — including hand-knotted pieces. For trade buyers who want a particular look or a repeated design across many rooms, rugs are usually where a custom or bulk order makes the most sense.
Custom and bulk orders
Standard sizes rarely fit a real project. We make custom hand-knotted rugs in wool and silk to your exact size, design and palette, and we handle bulk and repeat orders where you need the same specification delivered consistently across a building. For a designer or architect, that means a piece woven to your drawing rather than chosen off a shelf; for a hotel, it means room nine looks like room ninety.
Custom and bulk work runs on a lead time — hand-knotted production in particular takes weeks, not days. The honest rule is simple: the earlier you brief us, the more we can do. Bring us in at the specification stage and we can advise on material, construction and feasibility before the budget is locked.
Trade pricing — how it actually works
We offer trade and project pricing, and it is quoted per project rather than published as a fixed rate card. Carpet and rug pricing depends on material (wool, silk, blend), construction, size, quantity and design, so a single list price would mislead more than it helps. What we will give you is a written, itemised quotation against your actual scope, so you can compare like with like and plan to a real number. Larger and repeat volumes are reflected in the quotation. We would rather quote you accurately than quote you fast.
Samples, specification and sign-off
For any serious project we encourage a showroom visit or a sample review before you commit. Material feels different in the hand than it looks in a photograph, and getting the colour and pile right on a sample saves expensive mistakes at scale. Designers and architects are welcome to brief us directly; we are comfortable working from a moodboard, a drawing or a BOQ.
Delivery and fitting
We deliver across India and worldwide, with goods rolled and packed for transit. Within Hyderabad we offer free measure and fitting locally, which matters on wall-to-wall work where measuring and installation determine the finish as much as the carpet does. For projects outside the city, we supply the material and coordinate delivery to your timeline; tell us the destination and quantity and we will confirm realistic dispatch and arrival windows in writing.
